City of Miami EID and DDA Launch Third Free Pre-Accelerator Cohort Led by Creative Hub Miami & Invite Founders to Info Day

Miami, FL – September 3, 2025 — The City of Miami’s Economic Innovation & Development Department (EID), in collaboration with the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA), today announced the launch of the third Built in Miami Free Pre-Accelerator Program cohort — a 9-week initiative led by Creative Hub Miami to help local startups build, grow, and scale their businesses.

This unique program, offered at no cost to selected participants, provides early-stage entrepreneurs with world-class training, mentorship, and investor exposure, while strengthening Miami’s innovation ecosystem and positioning the city as a global hub for entrepreneurship and technology.

To introduce the program, founders are invited to join the Built in Miami Info Day & Happy Hour on September 16, 2025, at 6:00 PM at CitizenM Hotel Downtown Miami. Attendees will learn more about the program curriculum, meet the organizers and mentors, connect with fellow entrepreneurs, and enjoy a networking happy hour with the downtown Miami skyline as a backdrop.

The Free Pre-Accelerator Program Highlights

• Duration: 9 Weeks (October 20 – December 20, 2025)
• Format: Two weekly sessions, in-person workshops, and mentorship
• Curriculum:
  • Phase 1: Foundations – KPIs, digital marketing, product prototyping
  • Phase 2: Growth – VC Pitch Day, mentorship, partnerships & funding strategies
  • Phase 3: Scale – scaling strategies, legal workshops & apprenticeship programs
• Finale: Demo Day where participants pitch their ventures to investors, corporate executives, and City of Miami leaders
