Keith Carswell, the Director of the Department of Economic Innovation and Development at the City of Miami, today announced the Miami 2025 Opportunity Zone Summit.
The Summit is scheduled for April 11 and will take place at the Frost Museum of Science in Downtown Miami. The event will bring together global investors, real estate developers, private equity leaders, and policymakers to explore how Miami—“The Capital of Capital”—is fueling investment and economic growth in Opportunity Zones.
The Summit will begin with an exclusive Fireside Chat between HUD Secretary Scott Turner and Mayor Francis X. Suarez, discussing the power of Opportunity Zones.
The full-day agenda features panels on Public-Private Partnerships and Future Opportunities, where representatives from local government, banking and financial institutions, and private sector lenders will share their views on creating sustainable and inclusive development strategies.
Guests will enjoy a VIP Networking Lunch and have the opportunity to network with investors, developers, city officials, and community stakeholders.
The second half of the day will focus on sessions about Community-Centered Development in Opportunity Zones, featuring OMNI CRA Chairman and Commissioner Damien Pardo; Unlock Capital for structuring qualified opportunity funds; and Leveraging Foreign Investments: EB-5, Golden Visa, and Global Capital Flows.
The event is by invitation only, and interested parties can apply here.
